Is This Normal (Gross Question Alert)?

Ok this is gonnna seem pretty disgusting but I was on a school trip with my to mates. And then my mate decided he needed a dump along the way. So he went...For some reason which I'm not sure about he asked me when was the last time I had a dump and I said the night before. Then my other mate said that he has one like once a week. Me and Freind#1 thought that was quite wierd as e have one everyday. Friend#2 eventually said that it depends on the amountof fibres you eat and he doesn't eat muh fibres which is fair enough. But he still shoul have a dump like every 3 days at least though shouldn't he? I dunno someone tell me!
