Atheists: How do I broaden my horizon?

If you are a spiritual person, why don't you try meditating. It has been proven (when done properly) to help people with mild depression and daily stress. You could also try simply reading books when you can't sleep. If you are really awake and also sometimes depressed you might have manic depression so you might want to consult a GP or psychologist to find out. Write a diary when you can't sleep and just let your thoughts flow onto the paper without censoring them. That can help as well. good luck
