How to Build a Leaf Blower Bike?

Any help would be appreciated. Im trying to do a frictions mount but the spindle on the engine is very hard to spin so when i have the engine on the bike, the peg attached to the spindle keeps slipping on the tire. I dont want to do a socket powered, just friction. If you have any tips please help. Thanks
